Bernice Hunter-Henry, 91, of Rio Medina, Texas, passed away Dec. 7, 2012 in San Antoni, Texas.

She was born June 6, 1921 in San Antonio to the late Alfred William Oehler and Anna Wilamelia Grobe Oehler. She was a 1938 graduate of Harlandale High School. She owned Bernice Hunter Realty in Devine for many years.

Bernice was preceded in death by her husbands, Darald Edward Hunter and Eugene Louis Henry; brother, Harris Oehler; and sister, Doris Taylor.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Darlene and James Bass of San Antonio, and Kent and Kae Hunter of Altus; grandchildren, Wendy Wood, Hunter (Vickie) Bass, Bret (Amber) Hunter, Kara (John) Williams, and Clark (Danielle) Hunter; 10 great-grandchildren, Cody Miller, Matthew Szenasi, J.R. Bass, Jaycie Bass, Katie Bass, Samuel Hunter, Hazel Hunter, Dawson Hunter, Rayna Williams and Emmett Williams; sister, Phyllis Milam of Houston, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. A graveside service was set for today at 9:45 a.m. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Arrangements are with Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. Visit www.tondre-guinn.com
