Arlie Papa Ray Dennis was born Feb. 6, 1926. He suffered a heart attack and passed away peacefully on April 5, 2013. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Nettie Martin Nipp. He was the son of Charles and Bonnie Dennis and was the youngest of five children. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Earl and Elrey; and his sister, Melba. He leaves behind a sister, Alene Hall of Kansas. He is survived by his son, Randy Dennis (Chris); granddaughter, Michelle Eastman (Stephen); great-granddaughters, Rebekah and Amanda Meeker; and great-grandsons, Sammy and Max Eastman.
Ray worked on the family farm in Oklahoma until he moved to California, where he worked at his brother-in-laws gas station, Breuners furniture store and Tiecherts, where he retired after 22 years as a Deputy Weighmaster. He loved gardening, canning and especially enjoyed all of his family and friends.
