Dr. Hugh Foley will present a 30 minute program in the Ramona Theatre in Frederick on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 6 p.m. about Oklahoma musicians followed by a signing of his book “Oklahoma Music Guide - Biographies, Big Hits &Annual Events.” The book will be sold at a special price for the signing. The presentation is free and open to the public.


At 7 p.m., following the program and book signing, a “Taste of Oklahoma” party will be held at Bobby and Georgia Jacksons back yard. Tickets are $20 each and will include a taste of Oklahoma beef as well as other made-in-Oklahoma foods and beverages with entertainment by Slapout. Tickets are currently available at KC’s, Ace Hardware ,Frederick Chamber of Commerce or by calling 580-305-5689. Tickets must be purchased by Aug. 27 for this great and entertaining opportunity to get in the “Oklahoma spirit”.
